El Nath is an Ossyrian city located in the El Nath Mountains. It is located at the bottom of Orbis Tower. The city and its surroundings are covered with snow, which causes players to slide across the slick ground. Due to the cold environment, players will lose HP in the areas surrounding the city.
El Nath contains a special area exclusively for those level 50 and above. This area contains many monsters that are potentially deadly for those under level 50, and is therefore inaccessible to them.
The third job advancement can be made in the city, and at the end of the dungeon is the altar where players can battle the giant monolith Zakum.

[edit] Unique elements
[edit] Snow
In El Nath and its vicinity, the ground is completely covered in slippery snow. Players will slide when they stop moving. Many first-time visitors to the city will find it amusing to slide around.
El Nath's weapon and armor shop sells snowshoes, which, while worn, prevents sliding. There are four types, one for each of the first job classes. Each type is a different color and has a certain amount of defense bonus. Wearing them requires the character to be level 30 or above. Unlike regular shoes, snowshoes have seven slots instead of five, making them a prime equipment for scrolling.
Some people prefer utilizing the sliding effect while training, while others prefer not to slide by using snowshoes. While there are pros and cons to each choice, it's really up to the player to decide whether to wear the shoes or not.
[edit] Cold
Players will suffer from the cold temperatures while in the areas surrounding El Nath. While on any map with snow, players will continuously lose 10 HP every five seconds. This can be remedied by purchasing Red Bean Porridge from the El Nath potion shop, which, when used, will prevent HP loss for five minutes.
Players will not lose HP while in the city.
[edit] Market
The El Nath Market area acts as a commerce center for El Nath. It contains an entrance to the Free Market as well as entrances to the potion and weapon/armor shop. The storage and refiners/forgers are located here as well.
[edit] Chief's Residence
The Chief's Residence is a small structure located at the top of the city. The four third job advancement instructors reside here. In order to receive the third job advancement, one needs to talk to their respective instructor beforehand.
The instructors also provide permission to participate in the Zakum Party Quest.
[edit] Hunting grounds
In summary, the El Nath area consists of snow-covered fields and valleys, forests filled with dead trees and zombies, an abandoned mine, and a fiery dungeon filled with spewing magma.
[edit] Fields
The first few maps outside of El Nath are fields. They are relatively flat and contain some of the weakest monsters one will see in the area:
[edit] Cliffs
By entering a portal at the top of a butte, players will encounter tall cliffs. They feature stronger monsters; the majority of the maps are inside the level 50 area. The cliff area is separated by valleys, "dangerous cliffs," and wolf territories.
